Aplus.Net was established in 1992. We have been around through the ups and downs of the dot.com industry, but we have seized on the opportunities and become a strong player in the industry. We are currently one of the ten largest privately held hosting companies in the US, and we were the ninth organization (first in California) to become an ICANN registrar. As the market has changed, we have evolved our service offerings to provide customers with more of what they want – e-commerce hosting, web design, online marketing, and dedicated servers. And, we will continue to modify our offerings to better serve our customers.

Aplus.Net is leading the hosting industry in meeting the evolving needs of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). These kinds of businesses do not want to be bothered with data transfer, hard drive space, and all of the technical jargon. They want a solution that gets their business online with a reliable, good looking web site that works. We are also providing customers with tools, such as the Connectors, that help them get their products in front of customers. Basically, we are working to help customers succeed online, not just provide them with web hosting. That is the direction that Aplus.Net is going, and we think that is where the whole industry will need to go.

Located in the San Diego Technology Center, the facility features fiber optic connectivity to eight major Internet backbones, uninterruptible power from multiple UPS systems and a diesel generator, 24-hour surveillance, and a sophisticated climate-control system for an ideal hosting environment.

What kind of back up power do you have? |

All Servers are powered by multiple 150kVA UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems that provide additional protection from disturbances on the power grid. If utility power fails, ample time is available to seamlessly switch operations to a diesel generator. The onsite Caterpillar diesel generator provides enough run time to operate the entire facility for seven days.
