Please tell us the year established and brief history of RoundBerry.com? |
RoundBerry was established in 2002 based on the principle that with good service and affordable prices you can succeed even in a competitive industry like web hosting.
| |
What do you offer your customers that are unique to your company? |
We offer our customers superior customer service with a personal touch. We reply to every call, email, or ticket personally. We do not have auto replies to your tickets, and if you call our office you will get to speak to a person directly. We get to know our customers and their needs so we can help them maximize their online presence. We have excellent retention in our support staff with some members being with us the entire time. This allows our customers over time to know who they are talking to if they have an issue. We also personally call every new sign up to welcome them.

What is the most challenging aspect to offering Web Hosting? |
Keeping up with changes and new technologies in the industry. We just recently added Ruby on Rails support and will soon be adding DotNetNuke support. These are new technologies that our customers need to grow their own businesses. Also, in the last year we added many features(Fantastico, RAID hardware, a Website builder tool, additional storage and bandwidth, etc.) to our plans to help keep up with the constant changes. If you do not constantly update the size and features of your web hosting plans they will quickly be passed by the competition.

What is it that makes RoundBerry.com a competitive company in the Web Hosting market? |
Customer service with a personal touch. We try to offer all of the features at the same price as our competitors, and then differentiate ourselves with service. We track all customer issues and have a corrective action team review every ticket to make sure it is permanently addressed. We also provide phone, email, trouble ticket, and im support. We make it as easy as possible to ask us a question or resolve any issues.
| |
What new features have RoundBerry.com added for its customers in the past year? |
Many. We have tripled our storage and bandwidth on all plans. Added new hardware with Dual Xeon servers with RAID technology and multiple datacenters for redundancy. We have also added a Free website builder tool, Fantastico(over 50 programs to use for free), Ruby on Rails, unlimited domain on our Reseller plans, and a marketing package for our Reseller plans. It has been a busy year but we are already planning for many new features in 2007.
| |
What would you say is RoundBerry.com #1 asset to its customer base? |
Customer service and fast servers.
| |
Where do you see RoundBerry.com and the web hosting industry in three years? |
We see web hosting joining the software industry to provide hosted applications. Website builder tools and Ruby on Rails are 2 examples. In the future hosting companies will offer software packages as well as hosting plan. Customers will buy less software to be installed on their own computers and instead will “subscribe” to software products. Web hosting companies will work more with software companies to provide their software on a hosted model instead of the customer purchasing licenses.

| |
How many customers do you currently have? |
