Host Introduction Canadian based BlackSun is best known for its friendly customer service. They also do a fantastic job at delivering reliable, high-performance web hosting with guaranteed satisfaction and uptime. With a sophisticated and modern data center clustering arrangement, they enabled a uptime and reliability to always be at 100%.
At quick glance, BlackSun's network infrastructure includes multiple redundant Gigabit connections through Group Telecom, Shaw, Innovation Place Research Park and SaskTel. They also own and manage their own WAN links, and although their individual internet feed providers may have experienced hiccups, their system automatically routes traffic to ensure there is no perceived network downtime.

What we like: All the features making it easy to reach a sales representative are available.
What needs improvement: We would like to see 24/7 options become available.
Support Review Grade: A
What we like: Extremely satisfied with the response received on support queries. Even in the middle of the night, they were responding to tickets.
What needs improvement: None at this time.
Plans / Features Review Grade: A
What we like: Blacksun offers a wide selection of services, from shared to enterprise. We tested a shared hosting plan and were extremely happy with the control panel and how easy it was to setup, configure and make changes.
What needs improvement: Shared hosting plans should include more resources (disk space & bandwidth) for the price.
Usability Review Grade: A
What we like: We found it extremely easy to navigate the BlackSun website. We were able to allocate all the right information, contact details and purchasing options.
What needs improvement: None at this time.
Conclusion Grade: A
In conclusion, BlackSun's focus on the latest technology, combined with building a team to offer the best in service and support are foremost qualities. Those who know technology or need the most from it will be suitably impressed with Blacksun.
