What we like: No matter the time of day, Hostgator support technicians are available to assist.

We opted for the phone support, although live chat and email options are available.

For those do-it yourself types, Hostgator is a front runner when it comes to providing customers with an extensive forum (http://forums.hostgator.com), Knoweldgebase and Flash Tutorials.

With all support provided in-house you can be sure to receive a quick, effective and truly American support response/resolution.
What needs improvement: For Resellers, an option to provide direct support to end-client customers would be a nice feature to include or make available for a small fee.

What we like: Hostgator is a true Shared & Reseller UNLIMITED hosting provider.

With a well networked data center and extremely robust and reliable hosting equipment Hostgator is positioned to ensure its customers receive the true UNLIMITED experience.

For resellers, the UNLIMITED options is ideal! You can sustain a nice growth with your own hosting company, when you have Hostgator services providing the resources.

For businesses who are looking for more than a shared or reseller option, Hostgator also offers full managed dedicated servers (Linux or Windows to choose from). We particularly liked how they include fully managed services and DDOS protection.

What needs improvement: We found the Hostgator website, although simple, very effective at ensuring all information was displayed easy for us.
