Hosting since 1997, Newtek Web Hosting offers Windows hosting for more than 100,000 domain names and is based in Phoenix, Arizona. It offers shared hosting, dedicated servers, and Virtual Private Servers. |

We would like weekends added to live sales support. There also can be more detailed information on each of the plans for advanced users. |

Newtek Web Hosting offers a knowledgebase, telephone and email support, and live chat support seven days a week. We’re also a fan of the customer message board, which genuinely allows customers to interact with each other and the company’s staff. |

Priced with premium technical support in mind, the 13 shared hosting plans and 7 dedicated server options offer a reasonable range of choices for businesses. |

The Web site is quite thin in describing included features for shared hosting plans, we would like this section beefed up more.
The Hyper-V Virtual Private Server offering also seems quite minimal, and we’d like to see more flexibility than just the one plan currently offered. |

It’s not a cutting edge or next-generation company, but Newtek Web Hosting’s vast experience in the industry shines bright in its no-nonsense, straightforward hosting plans. Although its Web site leaves a lot to be desired, it ultimately gets the job done and provides a clear overview of the range of services available. We’re also satisfied that Newtek Web Hosting’s customer support is premium and flexible. |

| Simply terrible. |
A simply awful experience. We have been loyal customers of CrystalTech/Newtek for 10+ years... recommending their services to any client or colleague looking for hosting, but no more.
We received an email from them telling us that our account had been deleted. The issue was that our billing had changed, but they had not received an update... so after X days, the account was deleted. According to CrystalTech/Newtek, advance notice emails were sent to alert us of this, but none of these were received. We checked our logs of all emails sent to and from CrystalTech/Newtek support, and no advance notices were found. They did, however, have no problem with their cancellation email. We explained this fact to them, and their response was to offer to restore our account for the low price of $120. This was unacceptable. We spoke with several representatives over the course of a few weeks to resolve the issue, escalating it up the chain, but they continued to demand the $120 "restore" fee.
